1. Definitions

  • “We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to OFNL Compare.
  • “User”, “You”, “Your” refers to anyone who accesses or uses the Site.
  • “Provider” refers to broadband service providers listed on the Site.

2. Use of the site

  • The Site is intended to provide users with information about broadband providers operating on the OFNL network.
  • You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.
  • You must not use the Site in any way that may damage, disable or impair its functionality, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or its servers.

3. Information accuracy

  • We take reasonable care to collect current information from providers’ public sources, but we cannot guarantee that every tariff is complete, error-free or still available.
  • Package details, prices, availability and in-contract price policies are subject to change and must be confirmed in the provider’s pre-contract information before you order.
  • Where an exact future price schedule cannot be confirmed, any minimum-term total or effective monthly cost is an estimate that assumes the listed monthly price does not change. Optional equipment is excluded from mandatory totals and shown separately where known.

4. Advertising, affiliate links and commissions

  • Providers may pay for packages to appear in promoted positions. We identify paid placements as advertising, and that payment may affect where those packages appear.
  • Some links to providers may be affiliate links. If you use one and buy a package, we may receive a commission without adding a charge to the price shown to you.
  • Commercial arrangements do not change our cost calculations, tariff facts or provider-directory ranking. Matching sponsored deals appear first initially; choosing a sort or changing the effective-cost toggle removes that priority. Providers do not pay simply to be included in, or excluded from, our comparison.

5. Limitation of liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for any loss or damage arising from the use or inability to use the Site, errors or inaccuracies in the information provided, or decisions made based on information obtained from the Site.
  • We are not responsible for any actions or omissions of the broadband providers listed on the Site.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or affects your statutory consumer rights.

6. Third-party websites

  • The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including broadband providers. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies or practices of these websites.
  • Accessing third-party websites is at your own risk.

7. Intellectual property

  • All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos and images, is the property of OFNL Compare or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content from the Site without our prior written permission.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and website analytics. Analytics is enabled by default to measure traffic and understand how the Site is used. Use Cookie settings at the bottom of the page to turn analytics off or on at any time.

9. Changes to these terms

  • We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.
  • Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
  • Any disputes arising from the use of the Site are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
